"Anyone can fly" - and we mean it

Imagine...

Think about an aeroplane you can access any time, as if you own it. But you don't own it - you don't need to worry about insurance and hangarage cost, you just turn up and fly.

Flying club - now brought to Poland by Westwings Poznań, so that the pilots from the region can hire aeroplanes and use they licences as they always wanted.

PPL(A) from €9,950?

Have you always thought about learning to fly but thought it was too expensive?

How about this: come to Poznań for a few months, gain your PPL(A) with us while enjoying low costs of living in Poland, great Polish cuisine and hospitality, and the vibrant local community.

Who else to entrust your PPL(A) but a school which specialises in PPL(A)?

Just fancy a flight?

We have just the thing! Contact us to inquire about our experience flights or just take the bull by the horns and buy the experience flight voucher.

Both Poznań and the Wielkopolska/Greater Poland region look terrific from the air. They will make a great backdrop for that selfie at the aeroplane controls.

Our fleet

The main aircraft type in the Westwings fleet is a 4-seat Piper Warrior II, manufactured by the Piper Aircraft Corporation in years 1977-1995. It has become a great commercial success and it is still possible to this day to purchase a new Warrior III.

Maximum take-off mass ranges from 1055 to 1107 kg, depending on the year of manufacture. It has 4 seats and cruises at around 100 knots.

Training

We will shortly start offering the usual training courses defined by Part-FCL, like LAPL and PPL courses. For the time being we can offer a number of short courses and refresher flights, to help you build on your existing pilot skills and acquire new ones.

SEP(L) renewals

A number of pilots who obtained the PPL(A) licence and didn't pursue a commercial route, stop flying within a year from their skill test. If you would like to return to flying but the confidence isn't there or your SEP(L) rating has expired, please get in touch with us. We will gladly help you get your wings back and renew the rating.

Training flights

If you are already a licenced pilot and need to fly with an instructor for any reason, including the SEP(L) revalidation, we will be more than happy to help.

One of the requirements to revalidate SEP(L) by experience is a 1-hour refresher training flight with an instructor in the last 12 months of the rating's validity.

Hour building

To ensure equity in access to the fleet with long-standing club members, our current capacity is up to two hour-builders at any given time.  For those interested we offer individually priced hour packages. Ask us for a quotation today - use the club form but tick the hour building option.
